Salento Finibus Terrae, 7th edition

Yesterday in Lecce. This morning in San Vito dei Normanni: the 7th edition of the international short film festival “Salento Finibus Terrae” is been introduced during two press conferences. In Brindisi´s province will take place 14 days and not 12 for the last minute forfait of the Nardò´s Town.
The opening will be Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th in Torre Pali, Salve. The sections Enviroment and Dance and Music will be projected and will be awarded with the Streamit.it Salento Finibus Terrae award Lamberto Probo and Uccio Aloisi, both known for their pizzica and taranta music.
Among the guests, the tv author Carlo Raspollini, the cinema and television critic Guido Barlozzetti and Paolo De Vita, a Festival supporter.
After Salve the Festival will go to Carovigno, from 13th to 17th July: in the Dentice di Frasso Castle´s yard will be projected the sections Animation,Apulia shorts survey, Bullying and Noir-Thriller-Horror and the actor Jonis Bacir will receive the Streamit.it Salento Finibus Terrae award.
Then the festival will be in Mesagne, from 18th to 20th July in Piazza Orsini with the sections Very Very Short and Children World, this one patronage by UNICEF. In Mesagne also the exhibition “Fotogrammi di set, 50 anni di cinema” (shooting on cinema set) from July 20th to August 20th.
Among the guest of the Mesagne´s leg the actors Pedro Sarubbi (“The Passion” by Mel Gibson, “Il mandolino del capitano Corelli” by John Madden) and Riccardo Sardonè (“Enzo Ferrari” by Carlo Carnei, “San Paolo” by Roger Young, “O la va o la spacca” by Francesco Massaro) and the famous photographer Romolo Eucalitto for the BICset association.
The last leg, from July 21st to 26th, in San Vito dei Normanni, the town that guest this festival from the first edition. In the Don Tonino Bello´s yard will be shown the sections Young Cinema Workshop, Human Rights and Short World, patronage by UNESCO.
The 21st the special guest will be Ben Gazzara. For the grand finale, instead, will be present the director Sergio Rubini, the actors Marina Rocco and Manrico Gammarota, Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessandro Alessandroni.
