Salento Finibus Terrae, Ben Gazzara award the local short films

Last week for Salento Finibus Terrae is started yesterday evening in San Vito dei Normanni with great outcome. Tuesday, in the crowded arena "don Tonino Bello", for the first of the six evenings in San Vito, protagonist were the short films, realized in town, of the section “Cinema Workshop San Vito dei Normanni”.
“Zibaldone” won for this section, film that speak about a country boy who dreams to be a cyclist and dreams about a breakaway. The director, Luca Nestola, with the film´s actor, Luciano Lavarra, Pino Capone and Umberto Crastolla, was awarded by Ben Gazzara, festival guest, who have received from the mayor Antonello Trizza the Streamit.it Salento Finibust Terrae award.
Great emotion for all the public that have seen an international star of cinema.

The Festival goes on: today and tomorrow will be projected the section “Mondo Corto” and Friday and Saturday the section “Human Rights”. Sunday, the grand finale with many famous guests, as the actors Errnesto Mahieux, Giorgio Colangeli, Manrico Gammarota, lthe actress Marina Rocco, the actor and director Sergio Rubini.
